Scarborough curses on TV, saying “f*ck you,” (in a non-threatening way) and gets big giggles and dropped jaws from his shocked guests and co-hosts. It’s all in good fun, and a great example of why the Supreme Court’s looming decision on whether or not the FCC can fine a station up to $350,000 for a single f-word (or s-word or c-word), is a big, huge, absurd deal.
Joe Scarborough’s job should not be at risk because of this slip of the tongue. If anything, based on my site’s traffic and google searches for “Joe Scarborough Swearing,” it’s getting MSNBC plenty of free advertising.
