McCain's lack of interest in discussing policy from the very start (Remember Obama as a celebrity?), has been absurd. How people can continue to take him seriously is beyond me. I agree it was a fine speech. The politics of the branding was what made it odd to me. But it doesn't really matter, because apparently no one is listening to what McCain has to say this week. I haven't heard word one about it. Finally. I have definitely been annoyed by the “I know how to ____” argument.

McCain’s lack of interest in discussing policy from the very start (Remember Obama as a celebrity?), has been absurd. How people can continue to take him seriously is beyond me.

The speech was awesome!! At this point (actualy, before now), who cares what McCain has to say ~ Sen. Obama is arrogant, he's presumptuous~ so what? He's supposed to exude confidence! Not flailin' and desperation like the McCain camp! All McCain can do is attack. When has he ever presented a case for himself that didn't contain baseless attacks and conclusory assertions against Sen. Obama? When is McCain going to specify his plan for moving our country forward and stop saying "I know how to (fill in the blank _____)!" What is that? He knows how to win wars? Which wars and why hasn't he shared this information with the Pentagon. He knows how to fix the economy. Why hasn't McCain told the Chairman of the Federal Reserve, the Secretary of the Treasury, the President, or Congress so that our economy can stop bleeding by the barrel load?
