Palin Claims Couric “Annoyed” Her, Was “Irrelevant”

Sarah Palin is just so much smarter than Katie Couric, she couldn’t contain herself:

“Last time I was here I got to tell a crowd that I had to give a national interview that didn’t go so well,” she said. “And it was because I was kind of annoyed with the questions that I was being asked because I thought they were kind of irrelevant to, you know, national security issues and getting our economy back on track, so I kind of showed some of that annoyance.”

Couric did, in fact, ask Palin several questions about the economy and national security, focusing in particular on the congressional bailout package, the mortgage crisis, John McCain’s record on regulation, the war in Afghanistan, hunting terrorists in Pakistan, Russia, Iran, Syria, Israel and the role of the United States in the world.

So very annoyed was she that she completely lost coherence. Here’s a reminder of how the infamous interview really went. Ironically, the worst part comes during a question about the economy:

If Palin was annoyed, you have to wonder how Couric felt.

come on guys, she was asked at one time about what she reads. Is this really something to get annoyed about? It wasn’t Couric who asked her about the job of the VP and she managed to get it wrong….A FOURTH TIME!!! I don’t dislike Palin or McCain, I just don’t happen to think Palin would be a good VP because she seems a little too concerned about herself. Why would she already be looking at 2012, talking about her own show on Fox News or even a reality show with her family. I just think maybe she has too much going on in her life to worry about the issues of this country.

  2. angry old man with a short fuse suppoted by a VP with a short fuse….hmmm….
