Obama Rising

A little-known secret during the great Clinton-Obama feud of 2008 was that, while Obama was continually the flavor of the week in the media horse race, he was still well behind Clinton in national polls and polls in the states he hadn’t campaigned in.

Now, to the seasoned politico that makes sense. People know Hillary, but they–sadly–don’t know Obama until they see his commercials.

Anyway, it looks as though that’s about to change, based on some new polls out of California. Everywhere voters get a chance to see both candidates, they overwhelmingly break for Obama. Apparently “experience” doesn’t count for everything–believe it or not, apparently sometimes it helps to care about what you say.
